Plum and Apple Crumble

This is one of my Grandmother’s recipes and one that has always been a favourite of mine. With only a few ingredients, it is very simple but so useful. It is supposed to be served hot but I love eating it cold.

Serves 6-8. Prep time 5-10 minutes, cook time 25 minutes.

Flour 3/4 cup
Butter 2 1/2 tbs
Sugar 1/2 cup
Fruit (of your choice)

I am using…
15 Plums cooked and stones removed
6 apples sliced and cooked

Rub the butter into the flour add the sugar and mix together.

Place fruit in the bottom of an oven safe dish. Crumble the crumble mixture on top. Cook for 25 minutes in a moderate oven.

Serve while hot with cream or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
